Kirkland
Over the
past three decades, Camp Kirkland has emerged as one of the premier Church
musicians in the nation. He is recognized as the pioneer in establishing
instrumental music as a viable medium in the life of the church music program.
In 1971, he began the instrumental music program at First Baptist Church
of Jacksonville, Florida. This program is still a model of excellence in
music and effectiveness in ministry. Students and associates of Mr. Kirkland
lead many of the great church orchestras around the country.
In addition to being a highly skilled and recognized educator, clinician
and spokesman, Camp Kirkland has enjoyed a brilliant career as an arranger
and orchestrator. He has over a thousand publications in his catalog and
is an important contributor to the leading publishers of church music today.
He has the reputation of being a consummate professional both in the creative
process, in the recording studio, and in working with church music programs
around the country. Camp’s love for Christ is evident in every phase
of his art. Church musicians around the world have been blessed not only
by his music but also by his testimony to the faithfulness of God.
Camp Kirkland continues his music ministry, assisted by his wife Fran, through
Camp Kirkland Productions, located in Franklin, Tennessee.
Richard
Kingsmore
Richard
Kingsmore is one of the foremost arrangers and orchestrators in Christian
publishing today. Music ministers around the country have come to associate
his name with quality arrangements for both choir and orchestra. His Power
Praise for Worship Band series has emerged as the industry standard in
its genre. His arrangements and orchestrations appear in the catalogs of
Lillenas, LifeWay, PraiseGathering, Integrity, Word and Hal Leonard. Richard
is also a highly sought after clinician and speaker at conferences and
festivals across the country.
Richard has played keyboards with Truth, worked with Disney World, and
has served at some of the nation’s finest churches in Virginia,
Alabama, Texas, and North Carolina. Presently he is working in the Music
Ministry of Calvary Baptist Church, Winston-Salem, NC.

Kyle Hill
Kyle is recognized as a leader in the field of typesetting music for the church. He has worked in Nashville for over 10 years, and in that time has helped develop the standards for church orchestration typesetting used by many of the leading music publishers. His clients include LifeWay, Lillenas, Brentwood/Benson, Word, Integrity, PraiseGathering and Gaither Music, and producers such as Tom Fettke and Camp Kirkland. His most ambitious project to date was the typesetting of the orchestrations for the Word/Integrity Celebration Hymnal.
In addition to typesetting, Kyle is also an established arranger and orchestrator. His work appears in the catalogs of LifeWay, Lillenas, PraiseGathering and Brentwood/Benson.
Kyle earned a Bachelor of Music (Composition) degree from the University of Southern California. He has worked on the music staff of several churches as instrumental director and as minister of music. In 1991 he moved to Nashville, where he began his career in music publishing.
Kenn Hughes
Kenn Hughes has a diverse background in Christian music. As a trombonist, he has recorded with Ron Kenoly on the Integrity recording “Sing Out” and Camp Kirkland’s “Gloryland Band 5.” He currently is the Musical Director and tours with Denver & The Mile High Orchestra. He has also toured with Jaci Velasquez, Carman, and TRUTH. Kenn has also performed on The New Young Messiah Project with Ralph Carmichael conducting and the group Salvador.
Kenn Hughes holds a Masters Degree in Music Education and is currently serving as the Minister of Music/Instrumental at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church in Nashville, TN. He has served on church staffs as Minister of Instrumental Music at First Southern Baptist Church (Del City, OK), First Baptist Church (Lakeland, FL), Two Rivers Baptist Church (Nashville, TN), and The People’s Church (Franklin, TN). In addition to his full-time writing and performance schedule, he currently serves as the Executive Director of the Nashville Praise Group.
As a director, Kenn has conducted Concert & Praise Bands for Church Music Leadership Week in Glorieta, NM, and as an Instructor he has taught “Beginning & Growing Instrumental Ministries” for Church Music Leadership Week in Ridgecrest, NC and Glorieta, NM. He also taught “Beginning a Church Fine Arts School” for Church Music Leadership Week in Ridgecrest, NC. He was an Adjunct Professor at Southeastern College, Lakeland, FL, and a Graduate Assistant at the University of Oklahoma in Trombone Performance and at Wichita State University directing jazz arts groups.
